Belgien

Am Wochenende stand ein kleiner Abstecher nach Belgien am Programm. Ich hab diesesmal wieder ein weiteres Stück von Brüssel und von Brügge gesehen. Auch Antwerpen blieb nicht dieses Mal nicht verschont. Die Hauptstadt des Diamantenhandels hat einen sehr guten Eindruck bei mir hinterlassen. Zwar sollen die Leute ziemlich laut und aufbrausend sein, doch schien mir die Stadt auf den ersten Blick sympathisch. Sehr sauber und ordentlich, sieht man durch vielen gepflegten alten Häusern einen Hauch von Geschichte und gleichzeitig fühlt man das moderne Leben in einer jungen Großstadt.

Ein kleiner Abstecher zum Meer in Belgien war auch noch drinnen. Hier halt ich mich sehr kurz, weil es regnerisch, windig und nicht fern vom Hafen war. Also insgesamt nicht sonderlich beindruckend.

Laut Einheimischen (Flamen ;-) ) fehlt, dann nur mehr eine Stadt um Belgien kennengelernt zu haben: Löwen. Diese uralte Universitätsstadt ganz in der Nähe zu Brüssel wird mir in zwei Wochen auch noch zum Opfer fallen! Bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass ich auch ein wenig von der Stadt sehen werde.
